As part of an ongoing campaign to present the United States war effort as a global conflict between the West and Islam, the Palestinians voice strong anti-American sentiment, while calling for Muslims to unite. The following excerpt from the sermon broadcast live on the Voice of Palestine this Friday is an example:

"…Let us hope that Allah will unite the Muslims and defeat their enemies…Will Muslims realize that the country of brutality, America, is threatening them…with punishment and torture if they do not go its way and follow its orders, according to its new world order…which it imposed on Muslims to change their language of religious education… this order of infidels, the new criminal [order]…It is an order that wants to break the power of Muslims all over the world…

“…We are not asking for the impossible, and we know that Muslims do not have the strength required to confront the arrogance of America and the great countries of the world, but the unity of the Muslims… perhaps will prevent this loss and this disgrace which has harmed the [Islamic] nation.

”O´ Nation of Islam, Islam grants you the strength born of faith, and you are the finest nation of the human race. You are the possessors of the good faith... and the most significant resources, primarily: oil..." (PMW.ORG.IL)
