The 40 part series continues, as the background for the main theme -
the discovery of the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” - is still
being developed.
Summary of chapter 2
The years pass and the young child Najib, still living in the mansion
of the nobleman who kidnapped him, grows into an ambitious and
talented adolescent.
The nobleman’s wife’s jewelry is stolen and Najib is blamed. The
family demands he return the jewels and only the nobleman’s daughter,
Malak, stands by him. In the end, the jewels are found and Najib is
vindicated.
More years pass, Najib is now an army officer, and he and Malak are
in love. The nobleman’s wife vehemently opposes their marriage, and
the chapter ends with this theme.
