Air Force jets destroy three Hamas, Islamic Jihad weapon mills, two terror tunnels in Strip

The IAF struck five terror hubs in Gaza Strip overnight. Three of sites were reportedly Hamas and Islamic Jihad weapon mills and two others were terror tunnels.

According to the IDF, the pilots reported destroying their marks.

Palestinian sources reported that IAF aircrafts fired at several locations near the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Lahiya, in central Gaza Strip, and at a known tunnel area in Rafah, in the Strip´s south.

In the early hours of the morning, the Palestinian also reported of a strike near the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. A Palestinian medical source said one person was injured.

The strike followed a Friday clash between a Golani force and a terrorist who infiltrated the security fence near Kissufim.

Golani Staff-Sergeant Netanel Moshiashvili, 21, from Ashkelon, was killed in the clash.

The troops killed the terrorist, who was found in possession of an AK- 47, munitions, hand grenades and explosives, which the military said were meant to stage a terror attack on one of the border-adjacent communities.

The GOC Southern Command is still investigating the incident. Elior Levy contributed to this report (Copyright 2012 © Yedioth Internet 06/03/12)
