"Lacking rivers and mountains as borders, Israel has to make do with fences, but this will not be of any help; we have missiles that can hit anywhere in Israel," Nasrallah said.
Paragraph-4 Contains
Nasrallah´s speech was broadcast to a large crowd of Hezbollah supporters on wide screens in Bint Jbeil in Southern Lebanon. Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati was also present in the audience. The town served as the venue for Nasrallah´s famous speech in 2000, just after the Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon, during which he compared Israel to a spider´s web. To a cheering crowd, Nasrallah proclaimed on Sunday: "The soil on which you are standing was completely occupied since 1982 until it was returned to its owners, to Lebanese sovereignty, without any favors from the U.N." Taking a swipe at Egypt and its peace treaty with Israel, Nasrallah said, "We defined our own border without an agreement or preconditions like in the case of the Sinai." He added that "the Zionist occupier´s withdrawal from Lebanese land it had invaded in 1982 was an accomplishment for all the forces of resistance, in both Lebanon and Palestine."

Nasrallah also commented on Israeli politics, saying that the newly announced unity government was not formed for the sake of attacking Iran but because Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu feared his coalition would unravel. "We must be ready to act against any attempt by the Zionist occupier to invade our land," Nasrallah said.
