Terrorists shoot at soldiers, who fire back. No injuries reported
Palestinian terrorists opened fire on an IDF patrol in northern Gaza Friday afternoon.
According to the IDF’s spokesman’s office, soldiers returned fire but did not identify any hits.
No soldiers were injured in the exchange.
On Thursday, seven Palestinians were injured in an exchange of fire near the northern Gaza border, according to Palestinian media reports.
Two were seriously injured and five had moderate injuries, Gaza medical spokesman Adham Abu Salmiya told the Ma’an news agency.
Israel Radio reported that soldiers identified terrorists approaching the Karni Crossing by vehicle, apparently to plant explosive devices, and opened fire. (© 2012 THE TIMES OF ISRAEL 05/18/12)
