JERUSALEM – Israel´s defense minister says intelligence agencies are
familiar with a drawing said to be based on information from inside
an Iranian military site showing an explosives containment chamber of
the type needed for nuclear arms-related tests.
U.N. inspectors suspect Tehran has conducted nuclear arms-related
tests at the site. Iran denies such testing and has neither confirmed
nor denied the existence of such a chamber.
Defense Minister Ehud Barak told Army Radio on Monday that "this
diagram is part of the information known to all leading intelligence
agencies in the free world for some time."
Barak says the image reaffirms the need to halt Iran´s nuclear
capabilities.
