Israeli sustains light wounds in Jerusalem attack; police arrest two
Arab suspects
A haredi man in his 20s was stabbed outside the Tomb of Simeon the
Righteous in Jerusalem Thursday night.
The man was stabbed twice and suffered mild injuries to his abdomen.
He was taken by EMTs to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in the city.
A police source said that the case in being investigated as a
nationalistically motivated attack.
After canvassing the area, Border Guard forces arrested two Arab
suspects.
Local Arab residents of the neighborhood where the arrest took place,
began rioting after the suspects were taken into custody, stoning
security forces.
A Hatzala ambulance was slightly damaged.
Magen David Adom paramedic Yossi Marziano told Ynet that upon
arriving at the scene, "We found the man stabbed in his stomach and
thigh. He was fully conscious. We administered initial care and he
