The victim of an alleged anti-Semitic attack that took place in
Ukraine last week was flown to Israel on Tuesday to receive treatment
for his wounds.

"Just now before you called, a group of youths hurled insults at me
and made gestures," an upset Zilberman said. "Here I walk around with
security for my safety, but this would not be the case if I were in
Paris, London or New York."
There are up to 100,000 Jews currently living in Ukraine, which was
once one of the largest Jewish centers of the world, though estimates
vary wildly. (© 1995-2011, The Jerusalem Post 04/11/12)
