NASHVILLE – Asked about the importance of the 2012 election to the
future of Israel at a prayer meeting during the national Religious
Broadcaster conference, WND’s Joseph Farah said “it’s a matter of
life and death.”
The statement was made in a panel discussion prior to Farah being
presented with the “Ed McAteer Tree of Life Award” last Sunday night
by Laurie Cardoza-Moore of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, a
group fighting anti-Semitism and supporting the nation of Israel.
Farah was joined by Itamar Marcus of Palestinian Media Watch and
Michael Little of CBN.
After viewing videos of harsh anti-Semitic, anti-Israel and anti-U.S.
videos taken directly from Palestinian television, Farah compared
some of the statements to those of Barack Obama’s pastor, Jeremiah
Wright.
Farah said one of the highlights of the presidential campaign thus
far was Newt Gingrich’s comments about the idea of Palestinian
nationhood being a complete mythological invention.
“That statement was completely factual and accurate,” Farah said.
PJTN educates media professionals, Christian leaders and Christians
around the world about the biblical responsibilities to act against
the “new anti-Semitism.” PJTN was founded in 2001 in response to the
terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
One of the most important objectives of PJTN is in educating
Christians about their biblical responsibility to stand with their
Jewish brethren and Israel, utilizing the powerful medium of
documentary films to facilitate dialogue between the Christian and
Jewish communities.
