Rockets explode in Eshkol Regional Council, Shaar Hanegev. Air Force thwarts rocket firing attempt, strikes two terror targets in Gaza Strip

Air Force jets attacked two terror targets in the northern Gaza Strip overnight on Friday in response to the firing of rockets at Israel. The IDF Spokesperson´s Unit said that the forces carried out direct hits. The strike occurred shortly after the IDF thwarted a rocket firing attempt from northern Gaza.

At around 1 am the Air Force identified a terrorist cell that was about to fire a rocket and hit it. Gaza sources reported that two Palestinians were lightly hurt in the attack. On Thursday, a Qassam rocket exploded in an open area at the Eshkol Regional Council. No injuries or damage were reported.

Later in the night, at about 2:30 am, two rockets exploded in the Eshkol Regional Council. No injuries or damage were reported. Earlier, another incident was recorded when a rocket exploded in the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council. No injuries or damage were reported.
